Since installing Creature Isle [yes, I know there's a seperate forum!] and the official patch for B&W, it won't start up. It gets to the first screen, asking to play, uninstall etc, then when I click on 'play', it opens up the 'Lionhead' title window...but it disappears instantly, and isn't in the Task Manager. Creature Isle works perfectly though. Any thoughts on what could be causing it? And, even better, solutions?

I've been having the exact same problem on my XP system! Only it was the patch that caused my game to screw up. I installed the patch and it didn't work. I even installed CI in the hopes of it patching my game without cruddifying it up. Nope. It took me awhile to realize that I could just play patchless! Now for the past few weeks I've simply refused to install the patch. The game really sucks without the patch, but at least I get to play it........

ever tried reinstalling it ususally that fixes it. or use the patch uninstaller and get a fresh patch download 1.1 and 1.2.

yeah i have been having the same problems but i dnt have creatures isle my normal black and white does exact the same thing but uninstalling it dnt work any advice
