The fastest way to going good is HEAL HEAL HEAL!!

Just build up a village of 300+ strong (that has the Heal Spell) and KEEP HEALING. In about half an hour of constant healing your Temple should no longer have spikes. It should be a glistening crystal of holiness and the sky should be cloudless and covered with rainbows.

The Creature is another story. Leash him to your village with the good one and reward him for doing nice things. And when he goes and does something bad BEAT HIM. Teach him nice spells and reward him every time he uses one (also reward him for bringing people home at night, pulling fish out of the water and throwing it into the store, dancing, etc). Take the bad outta him and make him nice! With enough discipline your Creature will learn not to be so quick to anger and have love for his fellow man, not hunger.
