I think Zero is better because he can do close range attacks with his Z saber, and medium range attacks with his Z buster

Zero's always been my favorite. Each have their strong points, but I've always played better as Zero. His Z-Sabre is awesome as well.

The reason I like Zero better because he's stronger.

No doubt, these get really annoying. Just because Zero looks cooler than X doesn't mean he's better. They're both the same. X fires at long range and Zero is good at melee attacks. How do you get that Zero is stronger than X? If you play X6, X is just as strong as Zero with the beam sabre, just he sucks at using the sabre. Zero sucks with the Z-Buster so they're both the same. Basically, it's your opinion on who you like better, there's no factual information you can bring in that will prove who's best. Now, never bring this question up again or I'll go John McClane (Die Hard) style on everybody!

Based on the storyline, Zero is better than X in terms of being a maverick hunter, since Zero can kill mavericks with no mercy quickly, while X is a kind hearted fellow that would rather not fight and persuade the maverick to become good again. However, really they are both the same in terms strength and intelligence. They are both powerful mysterious reploids created by master scientists,technicians(whatever you want to call Dr. Light and Dr. Wily) that have been granted powerful weapons.

Yea, Zero is much better than X in decision. and he has his own special unit (the leader of the 0-unit) and is the hunter S rank. Zero is well-balanced in term of wisdom and strength. Anyway X has some secret powers deep down hiding inside himself. IMO, Zero is a pro and X is a hot rookie .

I prefer Zero, he looks so cool

I only use X when I want to view a different ending. Zero i way better than X.

I like to play both, but I believe that X is the more powerful character to play as. He acquires ALL maverick weaknesses, whereas Zero doesn't get them all (which makes Magma Dragoon the 'hardest' fight in the game). In X5, Zero can't even get all of the heart containers. My conclusion: X > Zero
