Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition

So, I didn't want to let this pass unnoticed. More than ten years after it's original release, Baldur's Gate will be re-released in an enhanced edition, on PC, Mac and iPad.

In January of this year, the site Baldur's Gate was launched. The old logo and a "stay tuned" message was everything we got. Apparently BG is about to be overhauled by a team that consists partly of the people from the original development team.

I was actually quite thrilled when I took notice of this news, even though it's probably just a little better graphics and not much more. they will be using a re-forged infinity engine, which will basically keep the gaming experience kind of similar to the way it was.

BG has never been quite dead. It has a big community that keeps modding the game to everyone's likes and all that. There's one game I'll be getting when the time comes!

So, in an attempt to render our lives a bit less hollow I hereby cast a mass resurrection spell, awakening the following Baldur's Gate hero's of old: Xavier Silvermoon, Euphoric, platinum griff, Rage111, BigRedMachine, Corwyn, ThePantaloonKing, PyroWizard, DuffyTheNerd, baldur, Mishtram, LiliannaAvalon and all those I may have forgotten.
