Uh...I never got that! Do you have a patched or pirated version or something?

nope I don't use patches, my computer doesn't like them. I got my Baldur's Gate game as birthday present from my brother ( well one of them anyway) who conveinently left the price sticker on it. So it isn'y pirated i.e. stolen either.

I've gotten that warhammer, the thing is kickass, but i like the spider's bane with te whole reististance to movement disabling attacks/spells. and if you have boots of speed it makes for a puick get away too.

yeah, freedom of movement would have to be my favorite innate ability. I HATE being held or webbed.

what I hate is when the only characters I have that can dispel charm GET charmed! arrgghghghg

Seriously if you get Kivan with just a composite bow +1 he kicks major ass.

Kivan kicks major ass anyway *sighs* I was so mad that he was not in the second one.

He was okay, but I liked minsc, xan, branwen, and khalid.

I got Valygar in BG2 trying to get someone that could be somewhat like Kivan...
But it just wasnt the same *sniff*

Valygar's one of my all time favorites.

If you send Minsc into battle and put berserk on him, he will attack the enemy even if he is charmed. (Make sure to stay away from him.

My favorite sword is Drizzt's defender scimitar, it adds to your defense too. (I don't remember the specs as I haven't played in a while.)

yeah, i found a twohanded sword +3 (i think) and it was cursed with berserk, it looked sweet but i sold it because i wouldn't want my dude killing anyone in my party

There's only one good cursed item:

The boots of phasing
AC+4
Curse: every ten seconds, your character teleports to a different spot on the screen.

those would be sweet on one could touch you, and if you had a sweet bow and good arrows that would be pro!! except for the fact that you could be anywhere in the map and yeah, so on second thought they are not so great.
