i have a HP Pavillion 64-bit system and $250.
i want to give my computer a "boost" i gess u would say. But i dont know where to start of if its even posible to make my computer better with so little cash.

THIS COMPUTOR WAS BUILT IN 2008.IT HAS A P7N SLI MSI MOTHERBOARD WITH A NVIDIA GEFORCE 8500GT,32BIT OPERATING SYSTEM WHICH IS LACKING FOR TODAYS VIDEO GAMING DEMANDS.I THINK I CAN START WITH MY CPU WHICH IS AN INTEL (R)CORE TM2 2 QUAD CORE Q6600@2.40 GHZ.I ALSO HAVE NEW DDR2 800 2(2GIG STICKS)GIVING ME 4 GIGS OF PATRIOT EXTREME GAME PERFORMANCE DUAL CHANNEL RAM AND WANTING TO ADD 4 MORE GIGS IF NEEDED OR RECOMMENDED.I HAVE 2 HITACHI DESKSTAR HARD DRIVES, ONE BEING 750GB 7200RPM 6.OGb/s AND THE OTHER 500GB 7200 RPM 3.0 Gb/s IN WHICH I DON,T KNOW IF THE 6.0Gb/s AND 3.0Gb/s MATTERS IN BEING COMPATABLE OR NOT.I HAVE A HIGH QUALITY ATX WT 550 WATT HD POWER SUPPLY.IHAVE AN ADDITIONAL LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM PRESENTLY IN THE COMPUTOR I'M HOPING TO UTILIZE.SO I THINK I MIGHT BE JUST NEEDING A MOTHERBOARD,VIDEO CARD,WINDOWS 7 64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM.I'M LOOKING AT AN ASUS P5N-D NVIDIA NFORCE 750I SLI SOCKET 775ATX REFURBISHED MB.ALSO AN ATI RADEON HD 4650 1GB DDR2 VIDEO CARD.MAYBE $300.IN PARTS AND THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE.MY FIRST BUILD.THANKS AGAIN.

I am wanting to build a computer that is mainly for "Gaming" and i have a buget of 1000-1100. Now i understand you can buld a computer for 800 and have it be decent but i want to be able to play games like Fallen earth, diablo, WOW. games that has need for high-very high graphics. If you can help me out that would be great. My major issue is trying to find out what is compatible with what.
