I have installed graphics cards, ram, hard drives, and a dvd drive or two before. I pretty much want this pc to be able to play most games on normal to high with a good fps. I'm not looking to be playing on ultra or super high thou. I also do some video rendering and photo editing nothing too major or often. I just want an overall good computer for everything and something to last for several years. I do want to get an SSD thou. I currently have 2 1TB drives that I have stuff stored on which I want to hook up to this new build, and I was just planning on using the SSD for the OS. Speaking of the OS I do have a copy of Win7 here already that I can use. I was shooting for the $500-$700 range but my budget is flexible. After reading what I put so far I'm also looking at having dual monitors but I'm not sure what size and what not to choose for that yet. I'm just looking for some experienced users to help me pick some better parts or give me a few tips for building the pc. new build

	Any particular reason why you want an aftermarket fan? Besides that, I don't see any problems at all. When you're building your PC, make sure you read the manual that came with your motherboard very very thoroughly before and during your building process. Seriously. Even experienced builders should still read the manual, since certain pins can be in different places on different mobos. I blew out a PSU on my first build because I didn't read the manual very clearly. ------------------- Maplestory Forum

	I agree that most of those choices are just fine. The one part I would strongly object to is the PSU. Raidmax are not a good brand when it comes to PSUs and that one in particular is a low end one, which means it is likely to be pretty bad indeed. For $5 more this should be much better: Green Series RG530-S12 530W http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-rg530s12 Review for the 630W version: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/881 The 530W unit uses the same design, so they should have similar performance/quality.

	The only reason I picked an aftermarket cooler was maybe for overclocking in the future but now that I think about it I don't really see a point in getting an aftermarket one. And thanks duneworld I was worried that the PSU wasn't good enough since it wasn't a popular brand. Someone else told me to look for a different one. I'm thinking I might wanna upgrade my graphics card thou. Any recommendations on which one I should go for?
