	Log in to remove this sponsored message Okay, so I want to build my first computer. I'm looking to spend up to about $700-$750, and I'm looking to use it primarily for PC gaming. I want to be able to run (most) games at med-high settings and get fairly good performance. I have little experience. My main problem is I'm not sure what to buy for my specific situation and was hoping I could get some insight, or some suggestions on where to start. I live in the US, and any advice/suggestions etc. would be greatly appreciated. - Cory new build

	First things first 1. Do you already have a copy of Windows (i.e. do you need to purchase an OS. Since it's expensive, it'll affect your final build by a lot) 2. Do you already have a monitor screen? Reasons same as above 3. What kind of games are you looking to play? If you're not playing intensive games, then you can do without a graphics card altogether, which saves a lot of money ------------------- Maplestory Forum

	1. No, I don't have an OS. I'm planning on getting Windows 7 2. I already have all my peripherals. 3. Basically I'm looking to replace my consoles with this PC, so I'm also hoping to get a decent video card.

	Case - $80 PSU - $55 CPU - $210 Mobo - $120 RAM - $37 GPU - $140 Optic Drive - $17 That brings it to a rough total of $660, leaving you enough money to buy a copy of Windows The graphics card is only an entry model, so don't expect miracles out of it. It was the most decent I could find under your budget that's a Nvidia card (which I'm a fan of). Perhaps someone can recommend an AMD Radeon card. The motherboard leaves you room in the future for any graphics or RAM upgrades The power supply will need to be upgraded if you plan on getting a real high end graphics card in the future ------------------- Maplestory Forum

	If your looking for a gaming rig, you should be looking at the AMD A10-5800K hands down. It is cheaper than the 3550K and you can crossfire a Radeon 6670 with the on die 7650D GPU and be over $100 cheaper. That will pay for your hard drive. It is just the nature of the beast. $700 does not allow for a top tier GPU but this will run most games medium to high.
