new build Please help with Compatability Check! :)

Okay so I'm planning on building my own Desktop PC which I've been thinking about for awhile. I have a list of the components I'd like to use but I'm not sure if they're compatible. From what I've read they are but knowing me I'll probably have misread something and I'd hate to buy all the parts and then it wouldn't work! Any replies are appreciated, thanks!

CPU: Intel i5 2500K
RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR3 XMS3 (2x 4GB)
Graphics Card: (Palit) NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 2GB [Still sort of undecided on this!]
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M LE (Intel B75)
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 7.1
Power Supply: CiT 700W
Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB Internal Hard Drive
Optical Drive: Samsung SH B123L Optical Drive

I'm tempted to get another Optical Drive as my Dad's PC has 2 and it's rather useful when copying discs! And being realistic I'll probably use up the Hard Drive space quite quickly so I'll be tempted to get another one in the future. And the case I've been looking at is awesome, it's transparent! So my questions are:
1. Are these components compatible?
2. Will I need to buy a seperate cooling fan for the CPU or will the one that comes with it be okay? (I'm sure it comes with one anyways )
3. I'll need to connect it wirelessly to our NETGEAR Wireless Router, which would be better; a network PCI-E card or USB dongle thingy?

The reasons why I'm building this is because my laptop is a pile of crap, I really want to throw it out of the window as it can't run anything without crashing or it going snail slow. And also I'm starting university next year and it'd be nice to have a decent PC for starting as it'll be the source for all my TV and Gaming needs (bar my 3DS and Wii ) and studying of course! If out of any of the components you recommend something different I'll gladly listen! As I want this to be right so it can last me awhile and I'll be able to upgrade the parts as time goes on I don't have much money but by the time I start uni I'll have about £1000 maximum but the closer to £500 the better as I'm really considering getting a Wii U and thats not cheap!

I thought I might not need a sound card but I wasn't sure so that's also less money I need to spend, same with a cooler! My house does tend to get quite dusty but its probably not enough to need one.

Agree that it's pointless getting a CiT "PSU".

It is actually quite frustrating that Rosewill PSUs aren't available outside of markets where Newegg is present (ie not the UK), especially when I once read a news item that Rosewill would be expanding into other markets...

The Nvidia GeForce GT 620 is not a gaming card, and I have doubts that it is a significant upgrade over the iGPU in the i5-2500K. Haven't seen a review/benchmarks for the GT 620 yet though. So I would suggest, that if you are going to buy a graphics card then spend closer to £100. Or just use the iGPU.

The CPU is an unlocked K edition CPU, which means that it is designed to be overclocked, but the motherboard does not support overclocking. If you don't intend to overclock then you can probably save money on the CPU. If, OTOH you do want to overclock then you'll need a more expensive Z77 motherboard.

Dunno about buying from Amazon US, haven't done it. For some people it would be an issue not having warranty support.
Based on the current exchange rate you could get the Rosewill Capstone-450M for £50, which would be a good price and well worth it over those BQs I listed if that price stuck.

duneworld and hiigaran, Thanks for all your advice! I think I'm nearly set on all the components I'm getting at the moment! One more thing though, I've been thinking if I ever want to upgrade my RAM in the future and add more sticks, I wont be able to unless I replace 2 4GB sticks for 1 8GB as I think the motherboard only has 2 DDR3 memory slots. Is it worth just getting 1 8GB stick to start with instead of 2 4GBs? And if so, what 8GB stick would you recommend? Would it matter if the RAM speed is quicker than the highest speed that the motherboard states? Thanks for all your help you guys, I really appreciate your help!
