Pretty much guaranteed I'd have it back by the time BL2 comes out though! So yeah, stuck with my dated POS right now. Took forever to boot up ~_~ For some reason it won't detect a wired ethernet connection, but was just fine with the D-Link. Go figure ~_~ EDIT: And to top it off, my old computer's HDDs are no longer recognized either, except for the C Drive. 	Shadow of Death did you got into disk management? Could it be that Windows regard the disk as foreign or have simply just decide to not give it drive letters?

Ermmm, like I told Hiigaran, that happened once and the drive showed up after that point. The problem isn't that the disk is not being listed at all, it's that for whatever reason, my system gets 5 to 10 second hangs, and the programs from the Steam drive (Steam and Desura) no longer work properly. Either it's a bad windows update somehow affecting Intel Rapid Storage Technologies, or the drive is dying. I should hear from the tech guys sometime today. EDIT: Oh, are you talking about my old computer I'm stuck with? Yeah, usually when it stopped working properly (Normally the Media disk stopped working, not both that and the torrents disk), re-scanning for hardware changes in device manager fixed the problem but not this time. Following a restart, it re-appeared but then my computer started hanging and Desura and Steam, both installed on the HDD wouldn't load and Steam's process remained lodged on the computer (ending process/Tree didn't get rid of it). So now I'm without Steam, and (less important) desura. Not sure if it's a HDD or port issue. I'd hate to have to get a new one and re-install everything on it. Currently checking for errors and selected to fix bad sectors if it can. hiigaran I had some trouble with a recent update aswell when I installed it some of my programs wouldnt work "magically" I did a windows reinstall and havent had any problems since im 90% sure it is something with microsofts update.

My friend had the same problem and he had to do a reinstall aswell I am now convinced it WAS an update.

	Yeah, seems it wasn't Windows after all, just a coincidence. It's my Seagate drive, the Steam one. Bad sectors (half a dozen or something) and stuff. Oh well, I'll just have to use my other 1TB drive in the meantime. 	Goddamn it >_< Different drive (same model, refurbished), even worse problem. The port itself has to be completely buggered up or something. After a while, it tries to detect the drive and my system slows to a crawl and other things bugger up (anything related to the drive, and the task manager itself just refuse to work). sighs Just going to have to unplug the drive and have done with it.
