that actually looks like a good enough build. guess my already horrible understanding of the pound was even worse than i thought!

If it helps £1 is about $1.50, although that's excluding the fact that things in the UK often cost more.

That's actually quite a good build. Good enough for medium, high settings would cost a bit more cash probably (not sure on how high that card will go), but the CPU is good enough. Pretty much all you need alongside that, if you've not already salvaged, is a case, a PSU and an optical drive. PSUs and cases for the lower end are often bundled together and optical drives if you really need one are quite cheapish.
If you're looking for slightly higher graphic capabilities and can spare an extra £20 after you've got a case, PSU and ODD or so then this
7750 won't be too far out of your reach.
Definately take your HDD from your own PC aswell... will save you having to buy a new one. A bigger capacity one can be bought at a later date if you need it.
Also, an FX4100 is about £4 cheaper than a 965, although I have the latter and it is a strong chip, even four years on. The 4100 uses alot less power though although from what I've seen, benchmarks and opinions seem split between the two.
