Does my CPU meet requirements?

you should be fine, but the video card will be more important...which is built in to the CPU.

ive never played (or heard of) that game, so i cant comment on what your gameplay performance will be like, but as far as the CPU end of things is concerned, you should be fine.

im afraid i have no direct comparisons for me to compare your hardware to the minimum hardware, but from similar hardware comparisons, it looks like you might not have the GPU power to play it.

someone else might need to come in and confirm this.

WakeCraterWind & Hiigaran - I have that game and I can tell you, it's pretty rough on a rig, at least if you want to max it out. I can't comment on how good of a job it does with scaling though.

For one, your CPU is 1.65 GHz (which I notice ashantiqua mentioned above).

For another, you have a rather weak GPU. For modern 3D games, only the ones with typically low requirements will run, and even then not all of them, and only on low. From what I've seen, Starcraft 2 and Left 4 Dead will run alright on low (very) maybe.....Those figures are assuming a better CPU besides which makes it much less unlikely to work.

You have a computer that was never intended for anything other than casual use really. That is to say, desktop browsing, youtube watching, etc. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it would even be any good for playing HQ 1080p files. Perhaps that processor type is better than standard CPUs for videos though, I'm not familiar with them.

The sort of games that WOULD run on it I think, would be 5+ years old, and not demanding even at the time of release. IE: Sims 3 might run pretty good on it.

So yeah, it sucks but consider your bubble burst ~_~

Hm... I've run MW3 on its lowest setting on here, so I'm not sure about that 5+ years old analogy. But yeah i didn't have much hope in the first place, this laptop cost less than most people's iPhones did.

Pretty playable, actually. it wasn't THAT pretty, but I had a blast anyways. Only very rare slowdown. The frames per second was probably not high, but it didn't negatively affect my playing.
