So my PC is a little dated...

I'm currently running an AMD 4870, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GBs DDR2 RAM and SATA HDDs. Better than your average PC but dated by todays standards. For this reason, I haven't been PC gaming for a while now. I'm looking to get back into it. Here is the build I've put together on Newegg... (Budget was $700.00)

Total: $635.96 USD

I plan on recycling:
-My monitor (Max Resolution = 1360x768)
-2 SATA HDDs
-650 Watt PSU
-SATA DVD Drive
-My OS (Windows 7 Home Prem)
-Keyboard and Mouse
and my ATX Case

I plan to do some gaming (Battlefield 3, Upcoming Sim City, Metro, Batman)
I also do audio editing/mixing using Cubase, but I think the processor and RAM should be good seeing as I do this just fine now.

I'm just want some opinions on this build. Are there any better deals out there or should I hold out for something else? Will Battlefield 3 as well as other games run at very high settings? (keep in mind, my max resolution is 1360x768)
Last, is 650 watts enough? I will have the video card listed above, as well as a DVD drive, 2 HDDs, and a side fan running off it.

monkey_ninjas316 - What sort of PSU are you using? How old is it? You might want to spring for a new one, especially if you plan on keeping this remade rig for a while.

monkey_ninjas316 - If it is that old, it probably would be a good idea to replace it. It doesn't even appear to be an 80+ certified unit (I don't see the icon that details such anyway). 650w is more than you need, but I'd still be uncomfortable re-using a PSU, especially one closing in on being half a decade old.

hiigaran would know better when it comes to recycling PSUs.
