	each card uses up to 300 watts, so if you can find a good quality 800 watt unit, that would be enough. find a single 12v rail PSU rated for 67 amps or more. if you want to go for multiple 12v rail PSUs, make sure each 12v rail has a high enough rating for anything that will be connected to each rail. for example, if you are connecting only one 690 to one rail, and nothing else, youll need a minimum of 25 amps on the rail (to find this, divide the power consumption of connected hardware by the voltage of the rail, which in this case is 12). that being said, i would suggest getting a 1000 watt unit. this will allow room for overclocking, and keep the PSU from being subjected to a near full load during intense gaming. also, just to let you know, quad SLI doesnt really offer any major performance improvements over triple SLI. same thing regarding triple over double, but not as bad. -------------------

	Centurion - What Hiigaran said. It's only really reasonable to get ONE 690. They're about $1000 as it is. The new generation scales very well with an additional card (the 690 is pretty much 2 680s on one card), but scaling drops off drastically after that (diminishing returns). Getting a second one won't see much in the way of benefits, and not all games support multiple GPUs as it is. Seriously, having even 3 GPUs doesn't really make sense. Are you trying some sort of insane setup, like 7680x1600 + 3D Vision? Even then, if I recall correctly a single 690 can do that quite well. Even if you're trying to 'futureproof', it would make more sense to just get one 690 and then get the second after considerable discounts are to be had. 	also, dual SLI 680s are more powerful than a single 690. iirc, two 680s are also either cheaper, or at the same price as a 690. -------------------

	A 1000W would do the job. Probably not pull no more than 600W but if you can afford two GTX 690 they deserve to be paired with an excellent single rail power supply. The Seasonic P1000W or the XFX Pro Black Edition 1000W to name but two.

	Hey guys, thank you very much for all the input. I found this http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6643 will it do? Or do I need to go higher? And yeah I might just go with one 690 to start with, but just in case.
