Series (WDM) you'd be very limited in upgrading that system. that dell motherboard doesn't support any CPU newer than a Pentium D, which is obsolete if you're into any moderate multitasking or gaming, you could max out your ram but it wouldnt make a huge difference. the only thing worth saving would be your DVD drive because you wont benefit from buying a new one, unless you want bluray. if you have a decent case, reusing it would help save some cash too. i've got the optiplex gx620. would that fit everything you suggested for that build? I'm pretty sure that case is too small for any full-atx motherboard. you could go micro-atx and it should fit
