	Log in to remove this sponsored message right now newegg is having a a deal for 48$ for a 30gb ssd. is this big enough for windows only and will i be able to transfer all of my junk over from my previous hdd? -------------------

	Windows 7 64 bit requires a minimum of 20GB and 32 bit Windows 7 requires 16GB. I suggest you'd better get at least 64GB SSD for an O/S -------------------

	30GB won't be enough. Yes you'll meet the minimum standards but after you get beyond the usually programs that automatically install on C:\ and won't let you change it and install all the updates the drive will be full. Providing you manage your space effectively (Windows limited to C:\) and move as much as possible to other drives, then a 64GB should be enough. SSDs are starting to get quite cheap though, so even 128 and 192GB drives should be on a reachable price.

	whats the drive itself? a SSD is not worth getting if it has less than 500 MB/s read rates. besides, you can get 120 gigs for twice that price. even if it is a deal, its bad value for money. -------------------

	I'd have to agree with hiigaran. The 120GB SSD are at a great price now. If I were you, I'd save my chips for the 120GB instead. You'll get more space for a better price. ------------------- My PC
