	Log in to remove this advertisement Wanting to build a new computer and I'm wondering if these parts are compatible Budget: $600 USD Your Location: USA Main Purpose: Gaming Multitasking: Medium Games: Portal 2, The Sims 3, Team Fortress 2, Killing Floor, Minecraft, Skyrim, Counter-Strike: Source, Dota 2, Half-Life 2, Trine, Battlefield 3 (I can already run most of these games, but I want them to run faster) Games I can't run properly Resolution: Current Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080 x 59 hertz (bits/pixel=32) Overclocking: None. Peripherals I have: Keyboard: Enhanced Multimedia PS/2 Keyboard Mouse: Microsoft PS/2 Mouse Speakers: Realtek High Definition Audio Recycled parts: I'm going to keep the keyboard, mouse, and speakers. 	for your uses and budget, i would get a socket 1155 i3, get rid of the extra cooler completly as the stock cooler is fine, get g.skills low voltage ram (1.25v, 1600mhz, 8gb) because its cheaper, and ditch the 10k rpm hard drive. with 600 bucks to play with, you cant put money in to the wrong places. with the money saved, you can get a better video card -------------------
