	Log in to remove this sponsored message So i think i have a problem with my memory overheating on my radeon hd6790. Is it a decent solution to stick some heatsinks with hotmelt on memory chips? Should i secure heatsinks with something but hotmelt? Could it potentially backfire? Has anyone had experience with this?

	It's probably not a good idea. How do you know it's the memory? Maybe you can improve the ventilation in your case by adding another fan somewhere, or something?

	I'm sorry of course I meant thermal conductive glue not hotmelt. I think it's memory because while gpu temperature stays at 55-70, i still experience often crashes (even when watching videos). So since i can't measure the memory's temperature i figured that's the problem (also i saw someone suggest that out of their own experience with the card). Adding a fan seems like a more crude decision due to the videocard's plastic cover and the grogginess of the resulting construction (i have to suspend fan somehow).

	Just to eliminate one more thing, what PSU do you have? I didn't mean to add a fan to the video card. I meant that if the case has better ventilation, then the video card will also be that much cooler. What kind of a heatsink do you want to glue there and exactly where? To the back/upper side of the card?
