	Log in to remove this sponsored message So I built a new PC and once I was finished, I plugged it in, connected a monitor to it, and turned it on (as well from the PSU). However it wasn't turning on, all of my cables were all connected to either the mobo or psu. So I'm confused to why it's not turning on. 	Double and triple check all of your connections and make sure the power button wire is in the right way, many have a negative side and you might have it switched around. 	if youve double checked everything and still doesnt turn on, then it probs that your PSU is faulty. -------------------

	Always do a minimum build outside of your case to check things are working and it's something I'd advise trying. Mobo, cpu, gpu, one stick of ram in nearest slot to CPU. Does it boot?

	can you be more specific about it not turning on? is there any sign of life at all? a fan spinning? something lighting up? or is it completely silent and dim, not even making a single click of a noise? if it is seemingly completely devoid of life, remove all the power cables that come from the PSU and plug in to everything else. make sure nothing is connected to the PSU. then, get the main motherboard power cable, find the green wire, and short it with any black wire. by shorting, i mean to get something metal and connect the two bits with. if it turns on, theres another problem. if not, the PSU is dead -------------------

	its the only way. you just need something metal to touch the only green wire there, to any other black wire -------------------

	Here's what I did, I unplugged everything that was connected to my PSU, then I removed the PSU, plugged in my atx 24-pin and atx12v 8-pin and nothing else. I turned it on and it was working.
