compatibility check

hi guys, newbie here, i'm trying to make my own gaming pc but is unsure whether all the parts are compatible with each other

i live in indonesia, i realized i should've bought computer parts few months ago when i was living in the states because they are outrageously expensive here =/
so, if possible, i do not wanna mess up and risk re-buying the parts

cpu: phenom II x6 1100t
video card: HIS radeon 6950 ICEQx 2gb
motherboard: asrock 990fx extreme 4
psu: enermax naxn 82+ 850w
ram: team lv series 8gb ddr3 pc-17000
harddrive: samsung hdd sata 1tb 7200rpm
case: venom rx atra gto full tower

if the parts isn't compatible or is lacking, it would be great if i can get a recommendation of what can replace it

hmm i just read up that the default for 2133 is 1600 and i need to OC in order for it to get that high
but i have no intention of OCing as i have little to no knowledge about it

so would it be better if i get a 1600 one or a 1866 one? recommendation is appreciated

technically its not overclocking if its already been downclocked, so changing the settings back to what they are designed for will have no adverse effects.

also, if you want to swap from an AMD CPU to an intel one, you will need a different motherboard because the sockets are different. also, keep in mind that games rely heavily on the video card, not the CPU. there are a few exceptions like GTA IV, but almost all modern games get their performance from a good card.

also, high performance RAM is generally only useful for CPU and RAM intensive applications - servers benefit from fast RAM, but 1600mhz RAM is more than enough. i have 1600 mhz with my 2500K and GTX 590, and i have no problems playing games.

well there are cheaper boards to get, but i think its a worthy investment anyway. high quality capacitors and PCI-e 3.0...cant go wrong with those.
