	Log in to remove this sponsored message wont really matter. youll get most of it out with the fans on, but if you want a complete clean, you may have to remove the fans. however, any dust left over if you keep the fans on should be negligible in affecting heat. -------------------

	I'm up to 3.4MHz and playing SC2. Most I hit was 34c. But I don't know how accurate that is. How far do these 555 BE go up to? ------------------- My PC

	That temp can't be right...my CPU idles at higher than that (around 37c typically). ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

Can I ask, I really need to clean my Cooler Master V6 cooler. Can I spray compressed air through it with the fans on or do I remove them? It's a pain in the ass to remove those things so that's why I ask. You can clean the fins to some extent with just air, unfortunately the build up over time will start to impact your effectiveness. For the fans the key factor is keeping the inside of the rim clean (dust will build and cause friction or resistance on the blades, also wipe the inside and outside of the blade down as well. My usual method for this is just using rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to circle the fan and then using thumb and index finger to pinch the blades with the alcohol on the towel to clean each blade to some level. Overall after you do that the performance and efficiency should get a decent bump. Unfortunately air alone isn't enough after it builds up as the buildup is too thick. -------------------

	I noticed the little dust wall I have built up in there. I'll clean it up this weekend. Been too busy at work. No time. Right now I was trying to bump the speed on the 555BE. I have it at 3.8MHz with a x19 multiplier. I played 2 matches on SC2 and it's still around 34-35c. Do I trust that? Is there another way to test the how stable it is? ------------------- My PC

	I would not trust that at all. Not sure why it is giving you those temps, but an AMD CPU under load shouldn't ever be reading that low (then again, if it really is then that isn't a bad thing). ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

	if you cant test with folding, use intel burntest. works on amd as well. as for the video card, use atitool. just open up the spinning 3d cube. monitor the temps at this time, and leave it for 10 minutes -------------------

	Gotcha. Well I did try the burn test and it failed at 3.8 but what I'm going to do the whole day tomorrow is start from scratch. I have the house to myself so I won't be bothered. Plus I have some beers also. ------------------- My PC

	Not sure why but my PC fails to post with my RAM timings at 8-8-8-24. So I've got them set at 8-9-8-24. Is there much difference between those two? Without doing a stress test, I'm not sure if I've got a fully stable system, since last time F@H at my overclock software both freaked out and crashed when I tried to change the multiplier. I've managed to get the CPU running on x20 multiplier though, with DRAM at 800. I've read that NB Frequency should be 3 times the DRAM frequency, at the moment it is running at 2000Mhz. Should I change it to run at 2400? The PC is currently idling at 41°c though. Since I'm probably will be unable to get fully stable at any higher speeds (I'll stop at 4Ghz on x20 for now), should I leave the vcore at 1.46v or see if I might be able to get it lower, since lower voltage = less heat.
