	Since I upgraded to a Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 the smp client hangs up the whole system. I primed95 my system and it was rock-stable for 2-3 hours during each test. I deleted+reinstalled it to no end. 	Just for what it's worth, Prime95 needs to be ran 8+ hours to see if it's truly stable. I've heard that people can have a lot of odd issues appearing when using the same Windows install after switching out motherboards. And yeah, to be entirely sure of stability I'd recommend doing a Prime95 Blend test for 12 hours. That's what I did to test my i5. 	Now that you mention it, I have an unlocked Phenom II. Not overclocked (yet), just unlocked. I've already tried to fold with the "Core Unlock" option disabled. Actually it folded for 5 minutes and then the system froze. For good. Btw, after 14 hours of prime95 (In-Place FFT), the system appears to be stable. I'll give it another shot (choosing the "Blend" torture test) but I don't think I have a stability issue. ------------------- *If a machine can learn the value of life, maybe we can too*

	try running intel burntest (works on AMD processors). its the most intensive stress testing program, and shows FLOPS performance. -------------------

	Hello hii, long time no see. As for IBT, personally I don't use it because it is far, far more intensive than anything I'll ever do on my processor. Folding and encoding are about the top things I do and neither of them stress the chip as much as P95, let alone IBT. 	true, but it pretty much guarantees stabilitiy if it stresses your processor to the max, and the performance data is also helpful in letting you know if you are approaching instability, if you compare values with previous, lower clocked ones (because a lower clocked processor may run much faster than the same processor at a higher, near unstable clock). ...and ive been around. not much to do here these days though -------------------
