	Log in to remove this sponsored message I dont feel like I need to make a thread for this, but I'm gonna save up roughly 100 bucks and I want to buy a Processor/Heatsink combo. I don't know what to exactly get. I'm probably going to get a: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103843&cm_re=AMD_Athalon_II-_-19-103-843-_-Product But I don't know if it will be compatible with my Motherboard (it's a few years old and I'm currently using an Intel CPU, if that's an issue I'm willing to get an i3 or some other Intel). But again, I don't know for sure if I have the wattage to run that too, since it's 95W and I only got a like 450W PSU. Also, I don't know what heatsink to get or where to even start. Again, price cap is 120$, max.

	An AMD CPU wont work with a with a motherboard that currently has an Intel processor. Do you know what socket CPU you currently have? If not, download CPUz, click the 'Validate' button and post the link. Most likely, to upgrade your CPU you will also need a new motherboard and ram as well. Maybe even a new power supply or video card. -------------------

I can live with an intel as long as it's not sub par, but what about heatsinks? I plan on OCing for my first time (like BIOS and the works) and I think I would like one. Not to mention the fans I currently got get pretty damn annoying.

	If you currently have an AMD CPU there is no way you can just swap it out for an intel CPU without getting a new motherboard at the very least. If you want to keep the AMD CPU and just upgrade cooling, I still need to know what socket the CPU is and what make/model it is so I can find you a good one. Fans are easily replaceable if we just know what size they are. AllNamesTaken = smartarse . -------------------
