	Log in to remove this sponsored message I need to build a PC that meets these requirements: 1. can operate 4 displays simultaneously at 1900x1080 or a bit lower res. 2. 4 or 6 core processor (I run multiple tasks that max out a cpu core simultaneously) 3. small SSD as a secondary drive (to house a database) 4. decent gaming performance (I will probably need multiple cheaper GPUs instead of one better, more cost effective one). 5. I need to buy a 4th monitor. I currently own 3 monitors. My problem is that I only have 800 to 900 dollars to buy all the components and a the fourth monitor. I appreciate any help!

	It will be primarily used for stock trading, online poker, and a bit of gaming in my spare time. In addition, I will be running SQL and ftp servers at all times. I have built a computer in the past, and my budget is slightly flexible if it would make a big difference in what I get. Going over a $900 budget would mean delaying when I can buy the PC, but I expect this to pay for itself (I am on an unbearably slow pentium dual core with low-end gfx and a PATA hard drive now.) EDIT: The four ports on the graphics card can be used simultaneously?

	alright, well then before i pick the rest of the parts, i would like to discuss your intentions for getting an SSD. now by a small SSD, i assume you mean something around 30 gigs? because if so, the performance difference between it and a normal hard drive wouldnt be as big. you would be better off financially by getting a 1TB drive, where your most important data would stay near the edges of the platter. i dont normally recommend SSD drives to people with less than $1500 in the budget. under $1000, seeing as this is not a gaming build. what kind of internet connection do you have by the way? -------------------

	How much storage space do you think you would need in the SSD? What size would you like the monitor? I'm guessing you want it to also run at 1920x1080 correct? Edit:... damnit need to get here quicker XD Also, you can only use all four ports if you have one monitor that uses display port. If you don't the active adapter you would need for it is about $100. Not sure if you would need the active adapter or passive adapter though. I believe possibly it was Kspiess that did the review on eyefinity. I have two high speed cable connections (one is a backup). Download speeds can get as high as 10mbps with upload around 2mbps.

	So the HD 5870 would be a better option than dual graphics cards? Don't worry about picking out a monitor, by the way.

The database is being accessed locally by other processes. Even 200gb of total drive space would probably be enough, but the prices seem low enough to justify buying .5-1TB of space. Are you suggesting purchasing multiple hard drives? It don't need the 5870 for gaming.

	What games do you play? Would you like to go cheaper on the graphics if the money would help more on the rest of the system? For the money I probably wouldn't go lower than two 5750's though. 	no, im suggesting buying one large hard drive. and seeing as you dont need a 5870, assuming no heavy or medium-heavy gaming, you could two of these EDIT: unfortunately, i think you might go outside your budget if you do want support for 4 displays as well as enough performance for more demanding games[color=#eef0f9][size=1] -------------------

My biggest concern is having about 50 windows over 4 1080p displays. I cannot afford for anything to be unresponsive. Full screen gaming is more of a plus.
