	Log in to remove this sponsored message I don't use the graphical client. I use the console client. I had too many glitchy problems on both the ATI and Nvidia graphical client. Even crashes. Have you tried the console client for GPU? I've 'heard' it's faster, too. VERY stable. Never had it crash. (EDIT: Never had it crash UNLESS I try and open a game AND run the GPU client, which I can understand.) 	It just seems logical that less graphical interface and coding = more power towards the necessary part (folding). And don't forget, I've NEVER had a single problem with the console clients. Any of them. It's really worth giving a shot. Hell, when you 'watch it fold', that uses a hell of a lot of GPU and CPU usage in itself. 	I guess I'll give it a try if I can catch it when it's just finished another job. Took me a while to bother setting up this one lol. I think it would work maybe just as fast when it's not open for view? Combined between both clients on same pc I got 14k points so far today.

	you could also use FAHmon. its a program that monitors all your clients on your computer (and i think other ones on virtual somethings...i dont remember what it said), so you dont have to go into a folder and look through the logs yourself. it gives you the ETA, when it was downloaded, and when the deadline is (the preferred and the final deadlines). -------------------

	How much CPU % does this normally take up? I just downloaded it and haven't seen mine jump above 30% yet. I wouldn't mine devoting more, but I already have the slider in the configuration all the way to the right. -------------------

	oh you are using the graphical client? i suggest swapping for the console client. its faster and you have much more control over what FAH does. your CPU usage should be whatever you set it to though. unless you have a multi core + htperthreading processor and you are using a uniprocessor client or something. -------------------

	Yeah but if he's using the GPU client, he needs to use something to monitor his GPU performance, not CPU. Though the client says CPU, it's referring to your GPU. What type of card are you using?

	Yeah, if you are using the normal CPU client, your task manager percentage won't be 100% on a multi-core, but one core should be pegged at 100%. Alright, I see two versions of the SMP client, MPICH and DEINO. Which one do I need? Edit: Nevermind, MPICH is the only one that works for 64 bit apparently. Do you think a 2.4 Ghz quad core is enough to run two SMP's? -------------------
