A question from my friend. |
|
There's a friend of mine, for whom I recently build a new computer.
He has bought Windows 7 Ultimate now but he has a problem. He has 5.1 surround sound setup, but he could only hear sound from 4 speakers; the center one wasn't producing any sound. He has Creative speakers and there is no damage marks on the speakers or wires. The speakers used to work fine with xp. now if I could go to his house I couldve done something but unfortunately I can't go there now. He had realtek drivers installed. He has set all settings to 5.1 surround sound. any opinions? p.s. i put this in the general comp hardware forum because the audio forum had very little activity. -------------------

are those drivers compatible with windows 7?
you know, this is the reason why i prefer some forums around here to be merged. were all just asking in the popular ones. ------------------- | |
