Compatibility and general rig check

So I haven't done a comp in ages and wouldn't mind a once over by the ever so gratious neo comunity.

Budget is aobut 1000 aussie dollars.. which I believe is getting close to 1000 us dollars ....

It's my parents computer... needs to be fast, at emails, internet, documents, etc but probably wont really game at all. Heaps of storage for photos and videos.


Everything shoiuld work compatibility wise yeah? ANd there isn't a part i've missed or a part that isn't so good.?

It's pretty cheap. I could have gone with a 9400GT but for 50 bucks it's not really worth it.

Which PSU would you suggest. the SS should be more than enough power and is very good quality

I disagree with this list. PCP&P is one of the best PSU brands. They make great quality hardware, and it almost always performs as it says it will.

a warning to all those who follow.

The case is nice and quiet, it's really well made and designed brillintly... BUT IT"S REDICULOSLY SMALL.

I'm used to my antec massive case. And so i realised the hard way that to get the motherboard in.. you have to take out it's one fan, unscrewing, then take out the HDD cage and then diagonally get it in flattening out near the end before pushing it into position. Then put the fan back, followed by the hdd cage then the hdd.

Oh, and the graphics card wont go in with the motherboard, so you better take that off before you attempt to put it in, and then put it bnack on in their.


I just got it working, beeped outside the case then put it in. Not so.....

Will boot with screen and windows-ize it soon

I did some general tidying up withtying cords etc... so it shouold be fine. But not the easiest case to work with.
