	Do you really need a laptop for gaming? I mean, are you planning to play Crisis on the subway? Or... Flight Simulator on an aeroplane? Buy a rig for gaming. Save laptops for word processing and web browsing.

If i weren't moving away i would definitely have bought a desktop instead, but unfortunately i need to be able to take my laptop to the occasional lecture, or occasionally take it on the train back home again. I've decided to go for the Asus, so thanks a lot for all the advice. You've really helped me out. Thanks guys.

	Shit I bought an M15x by a recommendation from a friend and now I'm hearing it wasn't a good buy. sigh God it was over $1000 too. At least I have a colorful keyboard.

	So i got drunk last week and opened my mouth to my gf saying i'll buy her an alienware laptop if she wants to play skyrim that much! Its just as well her other laptop is on its way out. I don't mind paying the £1k+ for it, just want to know if there's one that's good but can still take a bit of a beating (wear/tear). cheers. -------------------
