re: Folding @ Home II

Give me two weeks and I'll begin to tear shit up on the leaderboard again. I just put an order through for my 13 year old brother's computer.

I put a Athlon X2 7750BE with some G.Skill ddr2-1066 ram and a BFG GTS 250 OC in there. Sadly with some overclocking if need be my little bro will have a faster computer than mine.

I wont have a problem running both close to 24/7 come September when school starts. That's pretty much when I did the majority of my folding last time too. I stopped once I was done my 1st year.

re: Folding @ Home II

hey, i have a question. what exactly is the difference between the console and system tray client? ive been thinking about swapping over to the console version because i cant seem to get the systray client to automatically start up.

and what the heck is the SMP client?

re: Folding @ Home II

Yeah, I'm wondering which one to download, Console or system tray client?

EDIT: Downloaded the system tray one. I can't display viewer.exe

re: Folding @ Home II

the console version runs in a window, the systray runs in the background,
the smp is made for 2-4 cores.
the best program to run is the gpu if your video card can run it.(ati 2xxx,nvidia8xxx or above)

If I put that F@H stats thing in my sig, how much weight is it? I want to know if it'll go with my current banner.

re: Folding @ Home II

As long as the total combined widthxhight isnt over 575x125 pixels, it will be fine.
