This build will tear up games. In this day, if a build can tear up games, it will use any other software out. If you have a gaming machine... you have a killer machine.

I've never had any probs from tiger direct. Although, I prefer newegg.com for fast shipping and good prices.

That system looks similar to the one you are/were planning to build. Only it's a faster processor. I can't say much on the parts in it but it does look like a good deal.
Only thing is, it does not include a monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers. But all of that you can get for a decent price. ------------------- ![]() Jeff Gordon FTW.

All looks great, except the CPU. For marginally more you could go for the q9550, breaking you into the high end and giving you a far better proc.

That's a DDR3 motherboard, the RAM you picked is DDR2.

@Mainguy
Well Ive gone and chosen the q550 because it was only $70 more expensive so that isnt a problem @Linkrox I will try to find some ddr3 ram Well my system compared to that one for $1800 is better because I pretty much have the same thing but very close in performance Mine build comes with the same parts or similar and for cheaper and mine comes with monitor, mouse and keyboard ------------------- please click

Do you plan on doing any overclocking? Because if you do, stay away from Intel boards.

Closed by request and because a newer thread was made.
In the future, it may be better to keep it all in one thread so everyone dosnt have to look back and forth between two threads to see what everyone said Thread Closed
