Can I Upgrade My Laptop?

How do I know? I need a better video card, I have a Toshiba Satellite P100 or something along those lines...

What video card does it have in there right now. I think it might be possible to upgrade it but it'll probably be fairly difficult to locate a video card for it.

That sounds like it would be an on-board video card. You can not upgrade those cards unfortunately.

Nope sorry. Thats a built in Gfx chip and is not upgradable. There is physicaly no space/connectors to connect a better Gfx card.

Is there any way to actually verify this via your display properties? Most things I end up seeing on the P100 are for the Satellite Pro P100 which uses the 945GM bridge with either the NVIDIA 7300 or 7600 series.
Generally Toshiba classes their laptops by going P100-222, P100-259, P100-551 and etc. So the later numbers would probably confirm if you had any chance to actually upgrade since it seems some P100 series motherboards allowed for expansion cards.

My display properties do also say that it is in fact a 945GM... Which P100 I have I do not know, I guess my best option is to get someone to look at it for me.
