Hi all, I'd like to build a cheap and reliable computer to do URL-regexp-only internet filtering for my office. We probably should buy an appliance, but I'd have a hard time selling that idea because of the cost.
Anyway, here's the mini-itx computer I'm thinking about using. What do you guys think about the setup? Is it more reliable than a desktop computer with a hard drive? I would actually like to try installing the filter on WRT54GL, but I don't know if that would be fast/reliable/flexible enough. I wouldn't mind putting a few other services on the server either, like ntop or apache for nagios and a little wiki, which I probably couldn't do on the router.
