If you know this part already, I apologize.
When you first get the game, you should have 32 NFL teams and a bunch of teams that suck, like the Cats and the Thunder or whatever, and a bunch of All-time teams, and the NFC and AFC Pro Bowl Teams.
When you set up a user profile (under custom options) - you must have a memory card - when you play the games, make sure that MADDEN CHALLENGE is on. During the game Stars will pop up from time to time (example: Tokens: 4, Sack the opposing quarterback)
After the game you will have a bunch of tokens for doing good things. Then go Madden Cards on the main screen and go to the Card Book. In the corner there will be an icon showing you which button to push to "BUY NEW PACK"
Madden Cards will fly across your screen and you can use them in games to give you a boost. Occasionally you will get special cards that have "fantasy" teams - like the Ecko team. You don't have to activate those cards, they are automatically added.
After that, you need to have your user profile loaded and it will automatically activate your fantasy teams.
