stuck in apartment..cant get past pyramid head in stairwell

You just have to keep shooting him over and over again until you hear an "air-raid" siren like in the first game. Once that sounds, he will start to leave by going down the stairs into the water. When you shoot him several times, he will start to slow down. You can take advantage of this to run around him. Try to stay to his left as he will mostly swing from his right hand side or overhand. If you get hit by the overhand swing, that's pretty much an instant death. Once he starts to leave, don't get too close or he'll stop to take another swing at you. How many times you have to shoot him depends on the difficulty level you have selected. I played through on Normal action level the first time and it took a WHILE.

someone please help!!! playing normal on my second go around...used the stairwell key and found pyramid head killing someone...then, i find the stairs are flooded and the door behind me is locked!! tried shooting the heck out of him, but its only a matter of time before he kills me...HELP!!!!!

If you have not made it true yet, just run around the pyramid head and avoid to let it hit you, because if he do you will die. After few seconds the pyramid head will leave and go down in the water, the water will go away. Then its just for you to go down the stairs. ) I also have to tell you there is no point of shooting the pyramid head, nothing will happen. I have tried that. It just waist of bullets. Save the bullets when you really need to juice them. )
