Laura shook her head.
"I'm fine," she said.
Not really, Laura. You're not fine at all.
"I'll live," she assured Jade.
Laura, I'd slap you right now if I could.

Jade looked at her skeptically, "You could at least have my candy bar." Jade offered sliding it across the table towards her. "Don't even think about giving that back." Jade smiled. "I wouldn't want to get cooties." Jade winked.

Fall 3rd

Laura felt very skeptical.
She poked the candy bar, and it went back to Jade.
Amazing.
"I dont want it," she said. "I'm not hungry."
What the heck. Some guy my age still believes in 'cooties'. What an idiot.

Fall 3

Jade grabbed the candy bar and looked at it, "Okay, okay..." Jade laughed. "Give me cooties if you wish!" Jade laughed. Noticing she wasn't finding it amusing, he replied. "I'm kidding ya know...I don't think you have cooties..." Jade explained.

Fall 2
Allie woke to clouds covering a once bright sky.
She tossed her head.She walked downstairs into Rubys kitchen."Hey, Ruby." She said quietly.
Ruby handed her a small dish with sushi on it. It tasted spicy, Yet It was Calm. She walked
out into the gloomy world.

As She walked Out Onto The frostbitten Ground A Cry Split the Air Into Pieces.She whipped around.

Fall 3rd

Laura rolled her eyes.
She had gotten out of that stage in Kindergarten.
She was too smart to believe in stupid things like cooties.
Looking around, she realized she was bored.
"I'm bored," she said to Jade.

Fall 3

"Yeah, me too...Nobody here really likes me..." Jade said, leaning back, crossing his arms, and looking around. "I have one friend, Josh. I haven't seen him around though..." Jade explained.

Looking back towards Laura he seemed to still be boring her.

Fall 3rd

"I see," Laura said.
Silence.
Then, the bell rang.
Le gasp.
Laura stood up, pushed her chair in and stood there.
"Um, could you walk me to class? I dont really know where it is..." she said.

"Yeah, sure." Jade replied, getting up from his seat. Looking around he noticed the cafiteria was already half empty. Great. "So, what's your next class?" Jade asked looking at her curiously.

Fall 3rd

Laura shrugged.
"...I dont know."
She thought.
And thought.
"I guess homeroom. I really have no idea."

Fall 3

"Well, you should've gotten a paper at the begining of the day that told you your classes..." Jade said confusingly. "If you didn't get one..." Jade paused. "I guess we'll have to go to the office to find out." Jade explained, as he gathered up his lunch mess.

Fall 3rd

"Okay..."
Laura stood there, waiting for Jade to finish cleaning up.
She watched the people get out of the room.
"Uh, I can go by myself," she said. "I dont want you to miss your classes..."

Fall 3

Jade gathered the last of his stuff, "Um...Okay." Jade paused. "I wouldn't wanna miss class...I guess.." Jade replied. "Do you know where the office is?" Jade asked, looking at the last group of kids vacating the room.

Fall 3rd

"Yeah," Laura said.
Actually, she didnt.
But she didnt want Jade to miss his class, either.
"Um. Bye."
She left the cafeteria and eventually found the office.
Fascinating.
She and the principal had a little conversation, and Laura was directed to the art room.
Lovely.

Laura assured him she knew where the office was, Still doubtful, but she left the room in a hurry. Jade watched her weave her way through the tables as he walked towards the trash can to throw his lunch mess away.

Reaching his next class he sat down, and it dragged on...and on...and on...
