Laura shook her head.
Never in her life, did her grandmother ever give her a sip of coffee. "It'll stunt your growth! And look how short you already are!" she always said.
Laura sighed through her nose.
Her stupid, stupid grandmother.

"Oh alright..." Jade looked down and shoved his hands in his pockets. Why was it so hard to think of something to say to her?

Grayson cut in, "I'm sure your dog would like some water, can I get him some?" Grayson offered.

Fall 3rd

Laura stared at Grayson.
"Pardon me, but Daisy happens to be a girl," she said.
Suddenly, she wished she'd never said that.
Oh God, that was so rude of me! I'm such an idiot! she scolded herself.
"...Sorry..." she muttered.
Laura looked at the floor again, feeling stupid.

"Oh! Ha, Yeah! I'm sorry... would 'she' like some water?" Grayson corrected herself, half amused.

Jade smiled, She sure was right, that's her baby. No 'insults' to her.

Fall 3rd

Ask the freakin' dog is she wants water, not me.
Do I look like any dog to you, Grayson?
No, not really.
"No...she's sleeping," Laura replied.
She glanced over at Daisy, who sure enough, was snoozing happily in a chair.

Grayson glanced where Laura was and she saw the dog cuddled up on a chair. "Oh! Alright..I didn't see her there..." Grayson replied raising her eye brows. "Jade...is the pizza almost done.." Grayson playfully complained.

Jade rolled his eyes and smiled, "Yes Grayso! Be a big girl and wait..." He wink and stuck his tongue out towards his sister.

Fall 3rd

Laura just looked at the floor.
She felt sort of left out.
Like she didnt belong.
But she remained in her spot.
Lovely.
She started remembering the good times beween her and Tommy.
But those times were long gone now.
Tommy was dead.

"But I want pizza now!" Grayson crossed her arms and began to pout. What a dork. Jade smiled, and looked towards Laura who looked sad and maybe left out.

"Laura, tell this girl she needs to grow up!" Jade said with a laugh, hoping to get her into the conversation and make her happy. Doubtful.

"I'd rather not," Laura said. "Telling adults to grow up is quite rude."
Okay, so taking her Grandmother's wisdom wasnt really a smart idea.
She felt stupid again, and she felt Jade and Grayson staring at her.
How embarassing.

"I'm going outside for a bit," Fran informed Kelly.
She nodded, and Fran shuffled out the doors.
The air was crisp and cool, sort of like summer.
Shaking her head, she trembled back to the valley.
It was quiet....and sort of dead.
"Where is everyone?" she asked no one.
Fran shrugged and headed to the beach.

Fall 3

Awkward. "Yeah, sorry..bad suggestion." Jade said quickly. Stupid thing to say Mr. Jade. The voice taunted.

All of the sudden the oven timer rang. Grayson burst out in a victory cry! "YAAAY!" She yelled playfully clapping her hands.

Jade glanced towards Grayson, she was being strange tonight. More playful than she had seen her in awhile. Maybe that was a good thing.

"Yes, it's ready Grayson. Settle down, your acting like a kid at the fair." Jade rolled his eyes still half smiling. Walking towards the oven he took the pizza out and set it on the counter. There lay in front of them a perfect pizza, with the crust tanned just enough to make it crust. Wonderful

Laura just stood there, not relly sure what to do.
This wasnt her house, she didnt have any responsibility.
But she was the guest; she had a role in helping out...right?
Laura, offer to help them. Dont just stand there looking like some emo idiot.

Kailani turned her head slightly, and her eyes flickered.
She could feel Seth's hand in hers, and she could hear him saying things like "I hope she'll be alright", and "Why her?". Suddenly, Kailani's body began to jerk. Her legs and arms twitched violently.
She was having a seizure.

Fran shuffled into her home, calling out her sister's name.
"Ron! Ron?! Are you here?!" she shouted.
Silence.
She sighed and sat on the couch.
Her day was going horribly.
Suddenly, the door burst open.
"Fran? I haven't seen you in about three days," Veronica laughed.
Fran faked a smile. "Yeah...weird, right?"
"Where's Seth?"
"Erm...no where," Fran said.
Veronica rose and eyebrow. "Sure.."

"Oh my God!" Seth shouted.
A doctor came rushing in. "What's going on?!"
"She's having a seizure! Do something, man!"
The doctor called in two nurses and pushed Seth away.
He shook his head. He knew he'd make things worse.

Jade grabbed plates while Grayson cut the pizza, setting the plates down he glanced at Laura standing in the corner. "You want two pieces?" Jade offered pulling two onto his own plate.
