Checkup event? So are you telling me it is possible to KO someone with Luigi's Taunt. I got to try this move out to see if it works.

<sup>Fox can waveshine people right off the edge of Yoshi's Island. Fox isn't "just speed", he has many tactical advantages. One is the incorporation of speed in ALL of his moves. His gun is a good spam for damage buiding up over small periods of time. He has a good Up B to jump back to the stage.

Just so you know, edge guarding is much safer then simply using the capes from Doc and Mario. Also, just to add on Mario and Doc usually can't fight great Fox players. Look up "Zelgadius Fox" or "Mew2King Fox" on youtube, and tell me if "most characters" can beat them. The only big counter to a good Fox and Falco player is Marth.</sup>

I have to disagree here. Fox (at a high level) and Falco have even match ups with Marth. Marth may have great edgeguarding and gimping tactics against them, but the space animals have some powerful ways to deal with Marth also.

M2K makes Marth look like a space animal counter, but seeing as though nearly everyone can't be that awesome, I'd say that it is even. Being M2K is a broken tactic that should be banned from tournaments.

With Marth having a close fight with the space animals, there is no way that Mario can be even with them as well. He has worse grab range, priority overall, edgeguarding, and chain grabbing against Fox and Falco.

I'd say it's easier for Marth to do well against Fox or Falco, and thus perhaps win more often. It takes patience (mostly in game patience,) but a space animal player can do well against Marth. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike (since Marth is relatively laggy when compared to Fox and Falco) is key, and it's generally harder to wait and punish the exploit than just be reckless. This is just what I seen in my own experience when using Fox against Marth.
