Hearing Impaired - Page 5

Anyone can stand ridicule. I mean, you can't expect them to kill themselves. All I'm saying is, having this disability throws me off more than it actually benefits me. Not even the government is efficient enough with these disabilities, but when are they? It makes me think how they get tricked with fruad yet don't help the actual needy's...

I understand, but some decide to keep it to themselves. Trust me, when you go to a school like Dunnellon High School, you're going to get ganged up when it comes to individual disabilities. I think the record for most people ganging up on me, ridiculing my disability would be able... 30? Yeah because of that whole thing in Mr. Miller's class once, and I was quite ridiculed in my 10th grade Biology Class, but that only had like 10 people in it. I don't know, I guess it's because today's been horrible for me. My original personality was never like this. Back then I just dealt with it silently. Besides, the storm pretty much passed after Middle School. At least teachers stopped joining in on the party.

I know *looks down* But what can you do about it? They're just things you have to endure in life, and besides, I'm sure other people have gone through worse. Even though that's a messed up way to see things IMO. >.<

I think people who cannot hear improve even more in a certain sense.

Like I think that they get better sight, taste, smell, & sense. But hey that is just my opinion, maybe they don't improve in there senses I don't know.

I want to know if I would need hearing aids. My volume is always to the highest because that how I hear what words are being spoken. I never hear my teachers; I am starting to get lower grades because of this.
