It has been more than 40 years, and the bible says that only god himself knows the exact date when he interferes.


It might be another 30 years, or 3 months or whatever, no one knows the date, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.


However, the signs are clear to me, all the bad things that have been described as a sign in the bible happen todays, they may have occured earlier too, but the sign is that they happen much more and all together.


Another sign is in Isaiah 2:1-4 (the quote on the wall of the UN). It says that in the end there will be a people that will be instructed by god, and therefore they won't learn war anymore.


As far as i know, Jehovahs Witnesses is the only religion that is spread all over the world and completely refuses to join any military organization. They even refuse to learn martial arts, and get banned from schools in Japan for example.

Hey Master Meteor the world will end one way or the other. But i tell you this, no human being knows when, not even the writers of the bible know when. So dont use what you read from the bible to support your theory about the end of the world.

I already said that no one knows the exact date (except God himself), but he gave us some clues when the end of the world will be near.


And only the wicked human governments will end, good humans will life forever. (at least that's what the bible says)

I've been thinking that the end of the world is imminent for a while now. Not to mension strange dreams about the apocolypse happening on the 11th of November 2007.

I'm not sure about the reasoning and bible quotes you've given because i don't actually beleive in God

It kinda sucks to think that if the end of the world is imminent, there's not a damn thing any of mans machines and theories can do to stop it

I don't think it wise to judge the end of the world based on a book written centuries ago by old men who, imo, would be laughing their heads off if they knew what a commotion they would make even a thousand years later. I'd rather base it on what we see and know to be true today.

If the world does end in 2007, I'd be willing to bet that it would be because Hawking's theory proved to be wrong, during the creation of miniature black holes at the CERN's LHC. That'd be an interestiong end, though one I would not prefer, seeing as how it would prevent me more time with Halo 3 if/when it comes out by then.

There's global warming, but I don't think it's most dramatic effect will be the one to finish off humanity completely, there'll probably be enough survivors to contnue on. If global warming kills us, I think it would just be from heats unbearable to live in, and even then people may be able to take shelter underground, though most everyone would die by then.

On the long term scale, the Earth will inevitably be erased when our sun becomes a red giant (still several thousand years off I believe), and engulfs the planet. The Andromeda Galaxy is supposed to collide with the milky way in several more thousand years, so that would probably cause damage if our arm of the galaxy is hit. And ultimately, even if we survived all this, there's that black hole in the center of our galaxy that will probably pull in everything in the galaxy many, many billion years later.

Otherwise, you can always fall back on nuclear holocaust, seeing as how so many radical conservatives seem perfectly willing to sacrifice the good of the world to kill people that they don't understand.

Nostradamus and the Bible's prohicies are uncannily similiar.

How?

They're both vauge (bad things will happen, wars, terrorism - very helpful).

People have been predicting the end of the world centuries ago, and whenever the time comes, they slot in another 'prediction', pushing it forward a few years.
