	Ok I want to point a few things out, one being that abortion is a highly controversial topic and the fact that one person doesn't beleive something doesn't mean that it isn't fact because it is still truth. This issue receives a lot of support and opinions based on religious beliefs and that is the way some people back their opinion on the subject because that's their way of thinking and way of life. So basically if it is neccessary for me to give evidence as to why I believe somthing I will have to give it in order to support my claims. But please, enough with the bug/grass comparison, I myself don't see how that adds to our discussion very much. Ok, the point has been proven, both things die, and that is one thing we have in common; we die; we die; has it been said enough times now please move on. ------------------- What would it be like to be you? 	Why would we even need religion to tell us that abotion is bad. Even our own laws, apart from the law of morals from our religion, from the laws bestowed on us by our own superior being, tell us that to kill is a crime. As I said over and over, when w do not want a pregnancy we should start with preventing to have that pregnancy. We should not have a pregnancy we do not want so we prevent it - that is why condoms, pills and such are present and invented. We should not go and have all sex we want and then abort the fetus once it is conceived. We start by first having safe sex. In cases of abuse on women, as many have already said, there are counselors for this cases. There is the family to back the pregnant woman. I agree that abortion would only raise the trauma from the abuse. So the only time for me that a woman or a pair or even a man might consider abortion is in this case of sexual abuse. Still, even it is only natural to have considered it - because of the current ruckus about abortion as a solution, I am against abortion. ------------------- click here, sign up and get to know the gang world

	I really am on a cliff trying to decide if it should be allowed or not....I mean sure it SHOULD be allowed for teenage girls (lets say...14) who really dont want to have a baby...it will affect their lives so much..and there IS such a thing as too young! BUT... the population of Australia is dropping and parents are restricting themselves to only 1 child because its more convenient...so maybe it shouldnt be allowed! 	just a few points 1; children who have a bad childhood usually go bad themselves 2; everyone needs loving parents, if your not wanted your not loved 3; murder happens everywhere but if it is not human no one cares and it is overlooked 4;people have free will! they will do what they think is best 5;if you go into care you can never be content with your life because you will allways have a "void" 6;children arent playthings you can push them from peson to person 7;people dont understand how many unhappy, unwanted, unloved,beaten and metaly screwed up children there are because there mother did not agree with abortion and could not give them the correct life a child needs that is all i have to say

Why would you want more hungry mouths to feed, and more suffering children in the world. If you really care about something, you wouldn't want to destroy it's life. The power to choose is a great thing, and by no way should that choice be hindered. In all reality, it only matters what that woman feels at that point in her life. If she feels compelled to raise a child, then so be it. But if not, it's her life, and her childs life, so she should have some control over that. pro-choice am I.

	its simple that they should not be allowed. its an easy way out of something you dont want to do. If you dont take responsability for your actions who will. Teaching children its ok is wrong. you messed up and you wont admit it. so what if the child is a teenager. super should i feel sad for you. cus i dont you did this to yourself the minute you had sex. Ok I'll tell you how abortion is different from contraception. Contraception is to stop pregnancy is the first place, understand. I have no qualms about men spilling their baby-juice or women having a period because on there own it is only cells from your own body. Sort of like hair falling out or cutting your nails. Quick biology lesson. You see, at conception a sperm and an egg unite form to create a totally unique person. This new person is not part of you because its DNA is different. To the other guy saying its fine for a woman to do what she likes to her child, I only hope your own mother doesn't share your view or she might terminate if you put mud on the carpet or whatever.

	Not all forms of contraception work by preventing conception. Several work by preventing implantation after conception has occurred, and others affect both conception and implantation. If you believe that human life begins at conception, how are the latter two types different from abortion?
