Why is my opinion closed minded? Because I don't agree with you? Could I not say the same thing about you?
What I was trying to do there is make people think outside their little box. I was introducing some advance thinking which was obviously too advance for you and for many others.
What you are saying is that I have to agree with everybody ells. How old are you?
I have my opinions formed by years off experience and I am not going to throw them all away because some chump comes along and doesn't like them. What kind off man would I be if I did that? I have given sufficient arguments that abortion is murder, but no one is listening. Do I chuck a hissy fit and go crying to my mom? No! I say, that figures and get on with my life. I am a member and I am entitled to my opinion whether other members like it or not.

That chills me to the bone. To kill an innocent life like that who has no means whatsoever to defend itself is a crime so atrocious that I could not put it into words.

Another Mutant: You could actually see the pipe used as suction flashing across the screen and eventually only the baby's head was left. The ultra-sound stopped then because they thought removing the head was too explicit for a 4th year class. It wasn't just a normal ultra-sound, believe me.

DarrelX, I'm not agreeing with the majority of your views. I don't think the people that agree with abortion are evil and are going to hell, I can see where they're coming from. But if a girlfriend of mine ever got pregnany, I'd rather she gave it up for adoption than put the child through that. But at the same time, I wouldn't want my girlfriend to go through the pain of childbirth. Dilemma!

Oh and Another Mutant, it was at 12 weeks. I think the procedure changes when the baby gets too big.

I'm telling you right now, I don't think so! But we need to take a look at the different kinds of abortion. Partial birth abortion? Yes, pretty foul. But taking the day after pill or an abortion within the first trimester? It's just like having a really heavy flow day.

You can't tell me that pile of slime that was ejected was a living human being. In my opinion it is like a commensal partner, a pseudoorganism that could not live without its host (the mother.) Killing a fetus is kind of like chopping off a finger. It hurts, but the finger won't cry or be mad at you, and it certainly won't suffer.

maybe the US. should put restrictions on abortion like only with a doctor's and a judge's permission like in rape cases or when the baby will come out with a fatal brith defect. B/C its not really fair for a rape victim to have to have the baby of a horrible crimiinal and have that baby ruin her life. but in the other hand there are people who abuse the child abortion law and just aborot b/c they dont want a child that is why there should be certin restrictions.

I think abortion should be allowed, why is there such a big fuss about life, lives are often created stupidly and so they should be allowed to end with such equal disregard.

Insanity is not an excuse, "not even rape can justity abortion"? yeah ok then...If anything rape is more of a reason for abortion, so if you were raped (assuming you're a chick) you'd have the kid?

fair point but im from the uk and there are a lot of people who are irisponsible, and the child ends up in foster care and i think that for a child to grow up not knowing his/her parents gives them an empty space in there life ( a void) they are allways thinking who were they, why did they leave me and stuff like that, a childs mind is a very curious one. can you imagine having questions like that bouncing around your mind all your life

^^So it's better to have a child/children you don't want/like, treat them like crap and have them grew up twisted and bitter hating themsleves and the world around them?
