I might have gotten my facts mixed up but I said the same thing once Lion, and someone told me that the Japanese were siding with Germany, so when we defeated Germany, Japan felt the need to bomb us for defeating Germany in WWII? I am not sure but someone told me that in this forum once.

Japan pre-emptively struck the United States before the United States even went to war with Germany. Perhaps he was referring to the Atlantic Charter which essentially allowed Britain to buy all U.S good with loaned money and allowed British merchant ships to be protected by U.S navy envoys.

well thats why they call them civillians, theres not much you can do now though, but try to let people know of this.

I disagree that schools should teach such things to kids, what if your kid came home and was like "I learned about the totaly desecration and humiliation of Chinese people at the hands of the Japanese! They raped the girls made the boys have sex with their moms etc." A pleasant subject for the dinner table eh? But it isn't like they don't teach us things along those lines, because we are taught about the Holocaust.

Makes you think, eh? Japan and Germany were both part of the Axis, and they both totally "raped" another nations people at pretty much the same time. Interesting.

Well did you know china was around at the start of civilizations to as far as they dated? And China has had there fair share of mass wipe outs due to diseases. And its obvious you don't tell little kids. You tell them when there at an older stage such as when kids take sex ed. Also they have a sheet to sign like when you take sex ed so no problems will occur. You really think they would teach 10 year olds? are you nuts? Its kinda obvious that they would teach it to older kids.

As far back as I have been taught in History lessons, England & China have been around for a very, very long time and because China and England didn't interact or even know of each others existance it is difficult to tell which has been around longer.

Pfft bull, I live in Canada and they teach me enough to know about china. Im chinese, and I know that China is prolly the oldest Nation in the world. They were around when the Greeks were. They had existed around 2000-3000 Yrs BEFORE Christ. In the world now I can Quite safely say that china is the oldest Country in the world, they were named as part of the Ancient Civilizations. Europe never Existed back in the Ancient Civilizations, at that time, Rome had Conquered that land. THe mongolians which was the ruler (or had control ) of china was the army that Had caused the Rome downfall. Although Rome Fell for many many other reasons. Britian? Ireland? Scotland?! AS if those COuntries had existed. They Came up After christ was born SOme time in the AD when the medievil Ages had begun. And thats not even close to the Ancient civilizations.

And to answer to the Post about not teaching kids about these things. Ud never Teach them at a toung age. how old are u? ur learning it now! Even if u do teach them at a early age. So WAT? are they gonna go rape girls, Casue a war? Build a A-bomb? Why not teach them. China suffered so much. THey did not Cause the way, Japan Provoked it. They "claimed" they lost and army and blaimed it on china and wanted a search. China didnt let them and they attacked. Why did so many Asians suffer for this? Europe at that time was no help, giving us MJ and then Making all our soldiers helpless. No one Deserves a Atom bomb. Japan Is not evil. Its the goverment thats the doing it. I feel sorry for hte A bomb victims. It was the japanese that decided to attack america as well and they got it coming for them. I dont hate japan. i like japan cartoons and alot of other japanese stuff, but wat they did to china was unforgiviable. and not only that, they want china to erase it from thier history as well. PLUS they said that china in the history books was making it up. Which is bull crap.

And Spastic, No one deserves the a-bomb. not innocents. But not one chinese person deserved wat japan gave them. U dont know one thing that happened between japan and China. all u know is the Us and Japan. If u knew, found the info. You would beg to differ with wat u say. Its not Poor china, Japan suffered as well. but if theyu didnt provoke suffering, they wouldng have suffered. To What i believe the A-bomb and China have nothign to do with each other. they DONT link. China got abused by japan, they couldnt do anything to retalite due to that one war they had duds for Cannonballs. The american bombing Japan has NOTHING to do with China. the US DID NOT bomb the Japanese for China, the bombed them for Power, To show the world they are the world police, and if u dont listen we bomb u also.
