After trying to decipher through that virtually unreadable post, I have come to these conclusions.

First off, I would like emphasize this part of your post and how contradictory it is.

What? God HOPES? Do you know anything about your religion? God knows everything. The definition of hope is wanting something to happen even though you don't know the outcome. I cannot make this clear enough to everyone: WE DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE. God has planned out everything. NOTHING HAPPENS UNLESS GOD MAKES IT. Those two statements pretty much make your entire post irrelevant and prove it wrong. Please try to prove these statements wrong, but at least use proper grammar. Also please try to look outside of the box, outside of what you have been taught all of your life. Because God isn't as simple as Sunday school portrays him.

And by the way, I know what Omniscient means, as do most people who post here.

I'm going to throw one more point in with my above ones. "Once saved, always saved." Give me a break.
Any true Bible scholar knows that this statement and everything like it is no where found in the original or the current versions of the Bible. This is something that was sadly made up by someone (probably a pastor), to ensure people that once they are saved, they will go to heaven know matter if they stray from God or not. Wrong. In fact, the Bible says many things AGAINST this. I can't give you any direct sciptures at this point, but I have read things that prove this statement wrong before. Basically, if you stray from God after becoming saved, and die, you will go to hell. A little eye opener, eh?

There are a lot of preachers and double posters, but i think this thread has always been that way (^4), not that I don't want BHW or anyone else to stop moderating.

Why would an al poerful god allow for such confusion?
Why couldn't he allow us all to read Hebrew, if that is the pureset way to read "his words".

Why do we need a book?
Did Jesus use a book? (serious question)

God would know that "his word" could get wasily misconcieved throughout the ways and languages of man.

If he couldn't figure that out, than... well... I guess he wouldnt' be god....

Does it not also say in the bible not to tempt God? If you're such a Christian then why don't you strive for perfection and remove these sins from your life? I'm sure you remember the story when Jesus was taken onto the top of the temple and told by the Devil that he should throw himself to the ground, for the scriptures say that God's angels would protect him. In doing so, the people would see how godly Jesus was, that even the angels of heaven come to his aid. What did Jesus respond with? He told the Devil that the scriptures also state that man should not tempt God. What you are doing (watching R rated movies, enjoying violent video games, etc.) is tantamount to tempting God. Because you think, "Hey, in the end, I get forgiven so I can do whatever I want." This is completely against the scriptures and in turn makes you seem like a hypocrite, which God hates.

If Jesus made a sacrifice as extreme as dying on a cross for the remission of your sins, don't you think that at the very least, you could do things pleasing in his eyes instead of pushing your limits, then later asking to be forgiven. So what you're saying is (that you can be forgiven no matter what) I can go out today, murder a bunch of people, cuss to my heart's desire, lie and then steal, just as long as I ask God to forgive me when its all done with. That doesn't make sense, you know it doesn't. The word of God is unclear, how does He expect us to follow guidelines that don't make sense?

If that were your plan to do sins and then expect to eb forgiven if you weren't truly sorry thne it wouldn't woork.
Evil is embedded in us. It is true. God asks only to try to curve this. To try to become like Jesus. Not to do it purposefully and expect forgiveness with 3 words.All he asks is a simple try. And I am sure we all do try to be good. Then he asks us to be sorry with truth. God can sse past a simple non-meant sorry. Also CURSING is not a sin. neither is watching a movie with violence because it is a depiction of a fictional stroy not real life. Murdering is a flat out right sin.
