I don't think nature meant for us to take it. Did nature meant for us to eat poison oak or bark. Its there and nature made it so it must of wanted us to eat/smoke it. By your logic it is.

I guess you missed that part where I said our brain has receptors in it for the THC in it. Since you missed it the first time I'll make the connection for you. This means nature put a receptor in your body which means inside of your body is a place where a THC molecule can hit that will cause the high induced by Pot. I am therefore deducing that your body is supposed to have this in some way at some point or there would be no receptors for it. Think about that. Actually think about it too would they (the receptors) be there if we weren't supposed to have something (pot) for it.

Also if you eat poison oak it is not going to kill you. There is a chemical in the bark of it that is the same as in poison ivy it is called urushiol oil the reaction to urushiol oil is an allergic one. This means your body doesn't like it and reacts badly to it. Then one should conclude that indeed you are correct nature did not intend for us to eat bark well done.

Though the relevance this has to my point I do not fully comprehend (as I don't think it exists). My point was your body has receptors that make you react to pot in a very nice and pleasant matter, where as your body has an allergic reaction to poison oak and poison ivy leading us to think it is bad for us and we should stay away... naturally gives us a good feeling, naturally makes your skin itch and rash. Do you get it now?

And look I am responding to more already... or perhaps it was just bad reading, we can give linkin park fan the benefit of the doubt for now.

Whatever it is that is beneficial to your body from alcohol, you can probably find in another drink or food and is cheaper. Same with wine, you can find the same good things in grape juice and in more concentration. I don't think losing your liver is a trade off when you can just drink grape juice.

The only reason people try to defend alcoholic drinks and say they are healthy is because they don't want to give them up.

Marinade, nature lets have things that benefit us. The only way pot benefits us is through medical use. So maybe nature only wanted it for that. Not for kids to go in there parents basement and smoke it thinking there cool.

Yes, but you have to consume like one can of alcohol to actually benefit you.

Yeah, but most of the bad things in this world and there lives are created from drugs. So going to do drugs to get away from it is only continuing the circle. And it does show a sign of weakness, that you can't face problems head and and try to fix, instead you go get drunk or high.

You cant assume you know this to be fact because its what you hear on television. You could also say that tobacco companies kill people, even though its the people who choose to buy tobacco products and kill themselves. Every government funded commercial opposing drugs and tobacco are riddled to the brim with hypocrisy. The people who smoke or use other narcotics are just that, people. To state that a majority of bad things that occure in this world sprout from drug abuse is ignorance at it finest. Many arrests would not even occure if we didnt live with the strict drug laws we either chose to obey or disobey day by day. You see, the fact that we catagorise drug users as criminals gives other people the idea that all drug users need to be thrown into prison when they are simply normal people like you and I whether you believe it or not. The way drugs are porteyed on television or in movies are usually inacurate representations stating the negative instead of how some narcotics can actually be beneficial. What people do to themselves should be up to them. When you try and govern morals you take away freedoms.

Not the point. The point is alcohol canbe beneficial for the body. It doesn't matter if other food and drink are as well.

I don't categorize people who do drugs as bad people. I know some of them can be nice people, but people do bad things. People steal, fight etc. And I think that you could be a nice person but you still could be doing wrong by using drugs.
