ucas points help.

im 23 yrs old im considering going to university i was looking over my original qualifactions trying to figure out the mine field of ucas points i have literally no idea how many i have. jus wondering if anyone knows anything the qualifications i have are as follows.

gcses are

D in english
D in geography
D in history
E in religous studies ( all thou i find this to be a worthless qualification as i have very little intrest in religion and am atheist and belive in the big bang theory)
E in maths all thou i can improve on this
D in science

successfully completed a 2 year engineering and construction skills course

a whole range of level 1 key skills passes maths english ITC etc.....

edexcel level 2 BTEC first diploma in ict practitioners with all pass in all 6 modules which include

using ict to present information-------- pass
introduction to computer systems ------ pass ( acutually build my own desktop pc)
website devolpment------ pass
networking essentials ------- pass
customising applications software ------ pass
ict graphics--- pass

Seriously, that was the first result on Google if you searched "UCAS Points table". All you have to do is find the type of qualifaction you have.

Religious studies aren't useless at all. Most liberal arts aren't, being a well-rounded person with some background knowledge in a lot of areas is a very worthwhile thing. Religion in particular helps build critical thinking skills if you look at it analytically.

Improving your writing skills will help any university pursuit as well. I don't know if UK universities often have entrance exams or essay questions when you apply, but even if they don't once you get in you'll need have much, much better writing skills to make it through.
