do hallucinations mean anything?

So here's the deal, a few days ago I fell ill with a stomach bug, I know its pretty minor, but I was alone and vommiting up water and everything I ate for the past week, I hurled roughly 8 times in 2 hours. As a result I was really weak and I had a fever and started hallucinating pretty badly. I kept on seeing this dude I know in a by-the-way sorta friendship. And since then I can't stop thinking bout him, I know its pretty *bleeped* up, I know I'm straight, I have been all the way with girls before and thoroughly enjoyed it, I just wanna know if their is some meaning to this hallucinations(some deep subconcious rigmarole) or am I just panicking over nothing:confused:

I guess this all depends on what kind of hallucenationm you are having.

Drug induced hallucenations can have abstract and sometimes very detailed meaning, or can be frighteningly un-tethered to anything meaningful.
