I love her, despite the fact that she is such a pain at times. Koloth, the Bible teaches that when a man and woman has sex, they become one flesh. That is a bond, that no mere legal document can create.

Man, you have to be compatible in any meaningful relationship to have ANY chance of it working out GG. One of the reasons I am so damn attracted to my girlfriend is because we enjoy the same stuff. We both enjoy geeky stuff, we both love the theatre, we both have great fashion sense etc etc. Heck, even though we listen to different styles of music, we can introduce stuff to each other that we can both enjoy (for instance, my girlfriend recently got me in to listening to Daft Punk, despite the fact my music library consists almost solely of AOR and hair metal).

Long story short, there HAS to be common ground between you two. Doesn't have to be everything, because we're all different, but there must be something, a spark, between the two of you to make anything work in my humble opinion. The fact that you're suggesting living a miserable life with this woman and her daughters all for the sake of 'great sex' is just...ludicrous.

Man, sounds almost like you're scared of being alone, and just want to settle for the first thing that comes by, regardless of whether they're a good fit for you or not.

I've been fortunate, I've found the woman of my dreams. She didn't just fall in to my lap though, I had to go searching for her across the globe, 21 years worth. But, now that I've found her, I know that I'm not just 'settling' for whoever will take me. It might seem like a lost cause for you at 41, but don't ever settle for a life of misery, all for the sake of not being lonely. It'll be the worst decision you could EVER make, religion or not.

It's truly over now, we just ended up fighting again. The only mistake I made, was that she is a radical feminist.

Dispite all her failings I love her and know God Will bring her back to me. Right now, her mind is so structured with such feminist paradigms, that she cannot see the forest for the trees. She interprets everything I say or do as paitriarcal.

What Misty said! Stay away! She honestly sounds like a lot more trouble than it's worth. I understand and respect your religious opinion but it seems unjust to have to stay and punish yourself for one mistake. To me, it seems you've paid your dues with her.

Besides, fighting in a relationship is not fun and somebody who won't accept you because of your sex (and from the sounds, constantly tries to belittle you for being a person) is being more than a little hypocritical.

Or you could try getting into the kitchen and making her a sandwich on a thrice daily basis.
