Fatal, I have no problem with you making a joke, but please make it clear you are kidding, and for God's sake, please keep it somewhat within the realm of good taste. Your post was clearly referring to the Afghanistan people as dogs. Perhaps the entire premise for a joke like that in a serious thread like this was ill-conceived, I don't know, but the way you said it, as Bakka stated, you had to know how your message would be read.

But c'mon, it's naive to think that war and information practices by MEDC's have been carried out with unquestionable ethicality . In this specific instance/thread, I don't know, haven't been keeping up with it so you could very well be right(I have my doubts though). In a general sense however, I think you'd be hard pressed to convince someone that MEDC's and the US in particular haven't conducted war and information practices unethically.
