The kind where a topic is discussed between people or a section of writing is interpreted in other people's ways.

Well, the standards are as high as they can already get really. while it's annoying when a member uses circular logic, it can't really be disallowed.

However, flaming can be cut back on. Even disallowing the backhanded comments like "are you that dense".

But Gaming Geezer does annoy you, yes?

The standards can be much higher. I was a bit stricter when I first took the spot.

If you feel such is necessary, that's your place to decide. I would recommend watching for and cutting back comments like i posted above.

Geezer can't be banned. while i dislike most of his arguments, (ok, maybe all) he doesn't break any rules. He's even more civil than most members.

you could just try and cut back on the insults? they don't help your cause really, they probably only hinder it.

Funny thing, I just did a Current Events thread.

Coming back to the banning innappropriate comments, maybe a three strikes rule ... like, you get three warnings and then a ban?
