	I don't see why so many people are anti-abortion and protest about it. If someone wants to do something with their own body, then let them. It's none of your business! Same thing goes for the gays, or the masturbators, or the masochists. Theirs no point in arguing when life starts, its that own persons body. 	Well im catholic and obviously the catholic church beleives that abortion is evil, I have never gone along with this tho, I beleive that until the child is born then the parents can choose is best, it will effect their lives and I personally would not want to be born if I was unwanted. -------------------

	I'm pro-life.I am also a democrat in the US.One idiot ..lol in the local paper jumped on a post I made in a local forum, called Obama a baby killer and stupid stuff like that , despite the fact it was Roe v Wade that made abortion here in the US legal long before Obama was ever in the Congress. The Supreme Court here in the US would have to overturn Roe and that will never happen.To do so would in effect overturn all previous decisons ever made by other Supreme Courts/subject previous decisions to being challenged and the court doesn't want to go through that/open that can of worms. Of course here in the US conservatives and evangelicals don't want to allow sex ed in public schools, don't want to allow condoms giveaways , don't want tax money to be given to poor women for pre-natal care and other social programs that would help poor women to keep their babies, which in my view is very hypocritical. There need to be more adoptions and more money spent on public assistance for poor women when they become pregnant and their children.

	So many of the members come off as moral, logical and intellegent inviduals. But it frustrates me to no end, when I see the contardictions they make to themselves when the topic of abortion is brought up for debate. How your moral standards on murder vary hipocriticaly in this case. How is it justified to kill an unborn child but not justified to kill a baby I ask you? Neither is justified or morally acceptable is the answer. Who are you to prevent life from continuing simply because it is growing inside you? Contraceptives prevent unwanted births from occuring you have the right to use them. But not the right to end a life untimely! Ending the life of a growing child in the womb is no different than ending the life of an already born person.

	Phluxx, we've had this discussion before. Te difference is that the child, before the point of birth, is unable to live outside of the womb. It has no personality, no individuality, no feelings, no thoughts...nothing that makes us truly human. It is nothing more than an internal part of a woman. i ask you, if a woman wanted to donate blood, would you deny her? It is no different than killing a cluster of cells. Contraceptive fails, though rarely, it does happen. And you know what, i practice safe sex. but, if something did ever occur, i would encourage the woman to have an abortion.

And you know what, often times those clumps of cells known as a fetus do not even grow into a child. To assume such is ignorance. Many women have a predisposition to miscarriage. Saying we have no right to the argument, when we have no child is pointless and ignorant. Just because we do not have a child, does not mean we do not understand the merit of human life. As i said before however, an unborn fetus is comparable to a parasite. It has no thoughts, feelings, or being of it's own. It lacks everything that makes us human. 	We should not assume that the woman even constented to having the baby in come cases. Rape happens, and sometimes children result from it. If the baby is born the mother will only be able to remember the horrible events that cause this. Now this might not ALWAYS happen, that poor baby will grow up fatherless, and mostly motherless. Not much of an upbrining. A woman who will die in childbirth being forced to have a baby against her will because there is nothing else she can do about it. Isn't that murder? Or just assisted suicide? I know you will probably say that any quality of life is better than no life at all. And that brings me to the one point is the most important one to me. What buisness do we have dictating what a woman does with her own body. We let people smoke don't we? We outlaw drugs, and murder because they harm others. A woman choosing to have an abortion does not harm the general public. It is her choice to make not any kind of Governments. Obviously I'm Pro-Choice. Just my opinion -------------------

Some consider the fetus to be a baby immediately after conception, some consider it to be a baby after the first 12-16 weeks (when abortion is no longer an option), some only cosider a baby a baby once it has been born.
